Being a NÛN Teacher

Being a teacher is more than a profession that is based on the transmission and sharing of knowledge. It is a mission that is built on the strong foundations of "heart" and "love." This is a noble profession which is shaped by a dedication to future generations, while also encompassing social skills such as respect, honesty, leadership, and understanding of human nature. Teachers, by their nature, must be caring, emotionally balanced, joyful, confident and tolerant. As Aristotle said, "Education of the mind without education of the heart is no education at all." That is why teaching takes courage to touch the center of human's magnificent nature with love. That is why we aim for our teachers to be equipped with compassion in their hearts, to encourage continuous development and innovation, and to inspire confidence in achieving common goals.
